Disha College was established by Disha Education Society in the year 2001 keeping the following
guiding principles-
To promote quality education providing perfect direction to the career of the students.
To emerge as an institution instilling values and competence in the students, building the technocrats
of tomorrow.
To ensure and enhance the productivity of students from the day one to successful completion
of their studies in the institution.
To impart the students, the same exposure as they get in metros, so that they are confident while
working in such an environment in future.

Background
Disha College is managed by Disha Education Society a registered society. The Society was promoted by Shri Surendra Jain, an industrialist turned Academician, who has a brilliant track record of success in all the fields he has ventured. He has achieved many landmarks in promotion of education centers. DPS School of Banaras is one of them.
The Society consists of eminent and erudite personalities having years of experience in the field of education. The Society is constantly engaged in formulating the strategies and policies for achieving the set targets. Transformation of these policies and implementation of these plans are entrusted to a management.led by - The Vice-Principal & Head [Comp] . Prof. A.K.Tiwari and The Faculty Members.

education in Chhattisgarh since last 40 years.
Purpose
Purpose of Disha society is to start a teaching-learning system “DISHA” on the following broad guidelines which should always be dynamically understood, dynamically used and should draw relevance contemporarily.
“DISHA” - is a perpetual conscientious effort, It is a revolution of thoughts, It is a learning process to implement knowledge with wisdom in welfare of personal life, social life and for the universe.
